Calling my neighbor to let her know that the town's Christmas lighting ceremony had been cancelled because of the ice storm. She's a 90 yr old lady who is just funny as can be and after I told her it was cancelled she said, "Well, I guess I'll just have to sit in here and drink wine until it looks like all of the lights are lit." :rofl:

Yep, that was her plan. She called me a couple of hours ago to ask how the Santa in her front window looked from my view across the street and she said she was putting that plan into action. :wine:

I'm smiling right now because it looks like the Big Ten will end up with a team in the championship game for college football. It won't be my Iowa Hawkeyes but I know there are a few Ohio State fans here that will be pretty happy about how things will probably turn out. :nod:
