The bad news is they'll be very unlikely to make the playoffs … darn it.

The good news is that it's only baseball; nowhere nearly as exciting as hockey.

The bad news is that I don't get to watch much of either sport. :( When I have seen hockey live … I've really enjoyed it. It is very action packed.

The good news is that hurricane Florence has been downgraded to a category 2 storm.

The bad news is that the horrible storm surge estimates and rain accumulations are still in effect … and it's still a very strong Cat-2. Prayers will continue for all in it's path. :wish:

There's not much good in that ^^^^, but there is the good news that locally, this coming week won't be quite as chilly. Maybe I can get some yardwork done.

Bad news is I got a phone call from the daughter of the oldest friend in my life. Since the 2nd grade, we literally grew up together, raised our families together. I was told he is in hospice and unresponsive. :(
