A friends birthday.

Not a whole lot today but I did hear from a friend that I had feared had dropped off the face of the earth.

Getting home from my trip to see DB to find that I had a package waiting for me at the post office. Something I ordered actually arrived quickly. :faint:

Then a couple of minutes later as I pulled up to my house I saw that the entire south and west sides are completed on the outside. The new windows, siding and shutters look great! The place doesn't look like a crack house anymore.

Just got an email from Dad letting me know that the dates I asked about for my visit will work but he went on to add that it seems like what I asked about is a pretty short stay and wonders if maybe I could stay a bit longer.

Of course then he went on to let me know that there is construction on I-15 between Vegas and LA and came up with a list of possible alternative routes. Gotta love Dad. :rofl:
