I confess that I wanted to reach across the table and slap the guy that I was listening to whine about how rough his life was because his boss was going to counsel him today.

This was right after I had the privilege of escorting one of our wounded GIs who had both of his legs amputated after being hit by a road side bomb in Iraq about a year ago. I've talked about him before here and today he had his whole family with him. His wife and kids were so happy and today was the first time I've seen him with both of his "new" legs on. He looked so different from the first time I met him. I asked how his Christmas was and his wife smiled and said - a helluva lot better than a year ago! I smiled too. Kinda puts the rest of life in perspective for me!!!!
