Getting notice that my friend who underwent the partial liver transplant yesterday made it thru the surgery and is resting comfortably this morning. :D

Listening to my mom get all excited when we talked a bit ago about me coming out to see them this spring or summer. Then having Dad get on the phone and pretty much plan the whole trip for me. Those two crack me up. They even figured in how to work out a visit for me with friends in the Bay area. ;)

Getting a email from a friend whose last email to me, the day after Xmas, only said "F-you IowaMan!" She never did explain what it was that I had done to piss her off. Yes, same one who set up that MySpace thing on my behalf. I never responded to that one and figured she'd come around eventually. The email she sent me today said simply:

I miss you. :(
