Thinking about the Xmas dinner spread the company is laying out for us jerkies who altruistically *koff* worked the holiday so that others (read: execs; people who actually have lives and make real money) may celebrate more traditionally with family, friends and subsequently, their bartenders.

Okay a little explanation here (big shock huh since I'm the master of concise answers, LOL). Damn nosebleed came back and is starting to go from the WTF category to really pissing me off. Figured I'd check to see what all made Pixies smile so far today and there it was .....................

Thoughts of a 45-minute conversation I had last night on the phone.

I was taking the D train on into work today as I usually do, reading a magazine in relative quiet. As soon as I hit Canal St., a large group outing of third or fourth-grade schoolkids came on board, being shepherded by their supervisors, and just totally flipped the formerly morose, staid atmosphere inside the car. I swear I could literally feel color in the air. Usually these groups annoy me because they'll be all over the place and loud, but these kids were at that right age and just happy enough without being obonoxious or bombastic...even the supervisors didn't need to yell at them to keep order...so this made me honestly smile today.

That ^^^, and someone's efforts to change time zone designations.

A suggestion I put in the suggestion box at Taco John's earlier this morning.

This red-haired features photo editor lady that's replacing the girl I usually work with as she's out for the week...I know her just casually and from time we've said hello in passing but never worked together until now...ahhhh she's so wonderfully curvy and thick where I really really like it...and her skin has tasty freckles and specks...she's pretty and gots a nice character and personality, of course, but...she makes me think of a dish of sweet, fattening, all-natural Breyer's strawberry ice cream I wanna eat over and over and over...so she's making me smile right now...
