It was so cute too. Luckily, both Mr. IWM and I were in the living room at the same time with her playing on the floor. All of a sudden, here she comes, crawling towards the couch.

excellent!! Crawling is an important developmental milestone and it's better when babies don't skip it!!!

Yep, I know she's going to be hitting the road now and keeping me on my toes. Right now she rolls everywhere. The other day I went back into the living room and she had rolled going down the hall. Looked at me like "oops, busted".

Speaking of playpens. When our two oldest kids were in the two-four age range, we put our Christmas tree and all the presents in the playpen so they wouldn't knock the tree over or rip open their gifts early. Worked wonderfully! :)

PF's comment on the playpen reminded me of that. :D
