The bad news is that I'm having a hard time getting going this morning. :(

The Good News is the gorgeous, beautiful, delicious late Spring day I am enjoying!

The bad news is that it's turned very hot and very humid here. :(

The Good News is the Bach concert Dearsweet & I will be attending this afternoon. :)

The bad news is the concert is too far away for us to make it. :(

The good news is theat Friday, New York state actually passed a law allowing same-sex marriage.

The bad news is that GENDA, (Gender Expression Non-Discrimination Act) was killed for the fourth time in the NY Senate. This would have extended non-discrimination in housing, employment, etc, protections to transgendered peoples.

The Good News is that all my weekend chores are done!

The bad news is that dispite all my efforts, we're still finding Japanese beetles on the two birch trees at the front of our house. We put the granules around the base of the trees that was suppose to prevent them ... we sprayed the trees when we first spotted a few of the pests ... and I've squirted them with spray everytime I see one. They still keep coming. :mad:

The good news is God made ant eaters, bats, lady bugs and praying mantis too.

The bad news is that I haven't been able to find any beetle loving anteaters in the neighborhood ... yet. :(

The Good News is that I have the day off! :)

The bad news is, there's always a tomorrow.
