Making all the calls that I'd dreaded making

Just got home and read in a PM about the shootings at Va. Tech so now I've got CNN on to see if I can get caught up on what's going on. That's sickening. :(

I'm remembering how on this date back in '95 I drove to Des Moines from Lawrence, Kansas and found an apartment to move into. While I was signing the lease in the office the news came over the TV about the Oklahoma City bombing.

I'm also thinking about how today is my best friend's daughter's 8th birthday. :D

I'm thinking about how long I can get away with staying on Pixies in lieu of doing work. :p

Musicman, all I can say is hang in there and keep trying.

Talk to everyone you know, job opportunities can come from the strangest of places, I had a coupe of interviews when I was unemployed, just because someone I hadn't seen in a long time found out I was out of work.


Musicman is on my mind today, that and getting my paycheck and also working on my vehicle.

How there are almost as many Pixie babies as there are job searches.
