Bumping in to a student (the one I already stay awake wishing good things for) and his foster family at an ammusement park 2 hours from our home and him unashamedly hugging me everytime we bumped into eachother at the park and knowing he would NEVER hug me with the other Lost Boys around. It was so nice to meet his family away from school.

^^^ and knowing she's impacting her boys in the most positive manner, and this seems to be evidence.

A surprise phone call this afternoon, such phone call being designed only to give me a phone number I didn't have before.

my little guy could was a lost boy at one time, but with the help of some great teachers with the patience of Job, and principal and other numerous professionals, he is a brilliant 3 grader-(reading at 6th grade level). His current teachers are amazed at reading at how much he was a challenge compared to the realtively easily teachable child that they have now. Heck, when i see his preschool teacher I want to hug her!

progress maybe slow, but it truely is life changing---Lucky you to be part of it and love those that need a little extra.
