I can find no mention of anything about agreements...the Colonel sold his interest in the U.S. company for $2 million to a group of investors including John Y. Brown Jr., who later was governor of Kentucky from 1980 to 1984. The Colonel remained a public spokesman for the company.

If he sold interst then i would assume he would no longer have a real say in how the new owners (changed a few times since then) ran the business

All i have found is that the changed the Logo to emphasize the now non fried chicken products

Note: The Colonel died in 1980 at the age of 90 from leukemia
