Following wyndy's lead, I'm walking back to my desk from the front of the office. The afternoon receptionist is busy doing something at a counter when I walk by. She calls my name. I stop and turn around to go see what she needs, thinking she needs help with something work-related.

Receptionist: (leaning over, nearly whispering) "Your butt's getting small."

A LONG day at work that resulted in me impressing a few folks.

i saw THEE most romantic thing...it made me smile so much that i had to post this on 2 different threads, here and the Romance thread over in general sex talk.......

I watched my parents slow dance last evening.

Why is this romantic? Dad and Mom have been married for 37years, they belong to a denomination that frowns on dancing, but after my brother started playing "You Are So Beautiful (to Me)" by Joe Cocker, they were immediatly in each others arms, swaying. I could see that they were 35years younger, brought back to "that special place" in time. And, this is the part that got my waterworks going, they sang it to each other and MENT IT!! (and as i am typing this, i still have to bawl) My parents are STILL in love.

My brother and i applauded after the song was over, and i could see that he was a little teary-eyed too.

just knowing that despite it being the toughest job I have ever had, this has also been the best week of my life career wise and that I love my boys already.
