i got a lovely PM and it made my day... quite something because my day has not been wonderful!

Spending time with some friends today who I love dearly .... it was so good to see them, hug and/or kiss them ... enough joy generated from all of that to last me through the week at least!!

...my children were watching that awful "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" Christmas special. I happened to take a look at the screen, then asked my six-year old daughter in confusion, "Why is Santa wearing *green* gloves?" She very solemnly looked at me (as if saying, "idiot") and answered, "Probably to keep his hands warm, Mom."
