The good news is that we got about an inch of rain yesterday.

The bad news is that my back aches!

The good news is that this morning looks very pretty outside.

The bad news is that the doctor lectured me sternly to loose weight! :(

The good news is my attempts to lose some weight are finally having some effect. I've lost about 4-5 pounds now. Hoping that continues.

The bad news is that it's looking to be hazy HOT & HUMID today.

The good news is that we've got air conditioning. Whew! It's hot here, too!

The bad news is that the heat index for today is looking to be 105!

Still in the 90s here today, I think. I guess that's good news. :confused:

The bad news is our neighborhood is in a water shortage, can't wash cars or water lawn

The good news is that our town sits on a good aquafier and so water availability hasn't been hurt by our drought like conditions (yet) ... although some of the farms are hurting. :(

The bad news is that this weather is expected to continue through the rest of the week.

The good news is that our temperatures are suppose to moderate by the weekend. :)

The bad news is Beryl is churning off Nag's Head.
