I'm on call from midnight to 8 am, & when I agreed to cover this shift, I forgot that this is "fall Back" day.

I'm gonna be in service for 9 hrs & get paid for 8. I so smart...

My feet are cold.


scotzoidman, that doesn't seem fair :eek: Can't you put in for an extra hour's pay? Or make sure you're on the shift in 6 month's time when the clocks go forward so you get your hour back :nod:

I thought it was an hour later than it is.



Forgot today was the end of DST. :(

I had dim sum for a late lunch and I really wasn't impressed...I am going to have to learn how to order dim sum better :)

Sinus pills are not working today.

There's the rub: it isn't a /per hour thing, I'm an independent contractor, & they pay a minimum for being on call, or if there are enough runs during that time, the total I would get for all the runs, whichever is greater. Being Sunday morning, usually a pretty slow time, so I'll be ok. My biggest issue was that I couldn't get a nap in beforehand; the best way for me to stay alert is to tell my brain I need some sleep, apparently...

And I'd be happy to warm your feet up, BTW... :wink:

I just baked a cake for the girlie in my class' birthday.

I hope no one (in Florida^^^) left their chad hanging out today. :rolleyes2

I'm so happy today. All because of last night.

I must say that I don't know how Canada got it so wrong at the last election... but the United States got it so right!

Please don't think it was the 2-1/2 year campaign that did it. At least you have somebody actually running your government (be it not to your liking) for more than a year and a half at a time. :shrug:
