The boys won their second baseball game in a row tonight. They only won two games all of last season. Very proud of those fellas. :nana:

it's shaping up to be a busy week

been a quiet day this morning.. but a busy night. hubby up all night with back pain

It felt really good tonight to have a parent tell us after practice that they are very impressed with the amount of enthusiasm that my buddy and I have for the kids we are coaching and that the kids are pretty excited about winning some games.

The new siding is completely installed on my house. Just a couple more shutters to hang and the gutters and the outside will be finished. :D

I have now completed the bath fan installation, with 3 separate switches for lights, fan, & nite lite...& the panel breaker hasn't blown, & the house hasn't burned down (knock wood)

The yard is mowed! I'm gonna have to go at it again on Sunday or Monday latest, but it looks much better now.

Can someone PLEASE tell me why I used the fertilizer with weed killer instead of just getting some weed killer?

It's a guy thing, apparently...we spend $$$ & time helping the grass grow, so we can spend more time & $$$ chopping it down...

At least I broke myself of the habit of watering the lawn when it gets dry...if Mother Nature doesn't want to water it for me, who am I to go against her...

I sprayed poison all over myself & most of the yard last night in an effort to control the mosquito's & gnats for Monday's party.

what’s his name ... mike … from you bet your garden and gardens alive says garlic spray works miracles. non toxic, not too harmful to beneficial bugs and the odor fades (for humans at least) in a few hours but the stuff keeps away chiggers, skeeters, gnats, etc for a few weeks.

Feeling a little lost about my relationship again - found out something about my OH at the beginning of the week which shook me up, then again last night which upset me more - not his fault at all, but just made me question whether we really can make it work.
