Tonight is my first night back to work since Dec. 24. It's going to be interesting to say the least, and a cluster fuck to say the rest. It is what it is though.

I make dashboards for cars in a manufacturing plant, and usually there is no telling what was or wasn't done over the two shut downs we have each year.

And the suckfest continues...a call from my girlfriend today. Her ex-boyfriend's father had a heart attack, keeled over, and died.

My dog had 25 teeth removed.....8 two years ago = 33 out of the 42 he once had....poor little guy.

I noticed white spots on one of my fish, and tried to use API Ich Cure. Before when I tested my water I had 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and a little less than 5 nitrates. Less than 12 hours later my fish are acting funny and when I tested the water it was .5 ppm ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 10 ppm nitrates. I was not happy since this is an established tank and it resulted in killing my Pictus catfish.

Yesterday and today our temps reached the mid-30s (F) and it almost feels like spring. Tomorrow, they're expecting us to reach 40F ... pretty much similar temperatures through Tuesday of next week. Now that's worth talking about. :D

When did the automatic "Sorry for your loss" appear? It's shown up in Oz with news reporters, but it mainly appears to be US TV cops as an opening for an interview.

PF, everything I read about it said use some kind of ich cure, turn up the heat to about 80-82F, add some aquarium salt, and hope for the best. As for water conditions all I can do is water changes, add stress coat, and start up conditioner, and hope for the best.

"turn up the heat, add more salt" does it say anything about tartar sauce? :confused:
