Going into Peoria this morning for the annual Oktoberfest by the river. Should be interesting with the river somewhat out of it's banks.

wyndhy,

I'm in the tropics where we get over 60" of rain a year. This sticky this early probably means long and wet. The Monsoon's not due for a couple of months yet.

Down south'd give their left testicles (even the ladies) for a half that in portions that don't flood.

I'm not too focused on work today

Someday water will be just as expensive, or at least approaching that. I'm sick of being on water rationing myself, with no end in sight.

The pizza I ordered will be ready for me to pick it up in about a half hour. :nana::nana::nana:

I agree. It doesn't make much sense that some parts of the country suffer fires and droughts while others get flooded. Be nice to send the water where it's needed. Not really sure how much it'd cost to develop a net work of water pipes across the country.

I can see Mrs. WI's face now as I tell her that I'm heading out to lay pipe all across the US. :roflmao:

The big brown truck just brought me a newly refurbed laptop today. There may not be any sleep for me at all tonight. Not tomention 2nd degree burns on my thighs.

I decided it's probably best if I start drinking diet soda instead of the regular stuff. :(

Well ok, it wasn't solely my decision.
