I'm just glad to know he's okay. :boink:
And I'm willing to bet that Bibi was hoping that he's more than "just OK".

Not to change the subject, but, I think our summer is over. We've now had several days with lows in the upper 30s or low 40s and highs in the 60s. Kind of chilly.
Summer? They are worse than any winter here.

I know, when we get a heavy snow and the temps fall to near 0F, I send you a PM so you can come over and help shovel in our beautiful non-summer weather. :D JK |

With all this stuff falling, aimed at me, you wonder why I take my time? |

I am going to tell you about how proud I am of my 18 year old grandson who today, after working for an electrician as a co-op student and then as a fulltime helper since graduation has been signed up to be their new apprentice.
Yeah for Zac! |

Next to Normal is a energetic, tough musical.

That is awesome. He will be so very employable

My baby cut his long curly hair off. About a foot of curls.

A donation to one of the cancer wig charities?

I think today will be a bit warmer and so maybe I'll get the car washed. Poor thing is feeling neglected but the cold and rains have made washing it kind of a bad idea recently.

Interstellar is a satisfying Science Fiction film I can recommend. It has two plotlines, one a Love Story, one a Hero's Tale, which resolve at the end. It's the Hero's Tale that rides the parallel lines of Quantum Mechanics and Relativity Theory, and that's the base, Science Fiction story line. There are few physical violations for the purist to whine about.

It's on my list.

I'm at the Chicago Art Institute.

I am half in the bag from enjoying a few pina coladas
Hey, that's my quote. :)
We just had our first snow of the season. Wasn't much to talk about ... maybe half an inch ... but it was covering the streets and some grassy areas. Pretty much gone by yesterday afternoon. But, that's number 1.
We had a few wet flakes (the kind that fall from the sky, not the kind that walk around, we've had enough of those forever) last night, but nothing noticeable.
no snow yet..... :p
Expecting maybe another inch or so either this afternoon or tomorrow.
No snow in my area, but it's fallen to 22 F.
I have lots to do and no ambition to start any of it...............guess another coffee is in order. :coffee:
Sounds like a good idea, BIBI. Ended up, we didn't get the snow. You probably already figured how sad I was not to have go out and shovel the drive. Right?
No, DB, your ultimate ambition is to go out and shovel Bibi's drive after a heavy snowfall.
BIBI doesn't have a driveway to shovel anymore, sold my house (thank goodness) Underground parking is wonderful in winter.....
Well, we got our snow yesterday ... less than or close to an inch. Nothing exciting. No shoveling required. :)
We're having "snow". It doesn't stick the snow, it barely sticks to the grass, and it's barely enough to be a problem except people can't drive if there is a cloud in the sky.
The snow is here too, but nothing to worry about....yet ;)
No snow on the ground here, but it will be 14 degrees when I leave for work tomorrow morning while feeling like -2. BRRRRRR!!!!

:yikes: |
We got 3inches of snow yesterday most of it is gone now. But it was fun driving25mi. to work when everyone on the road forgot how to drive on it :box:
Im hoping for 8 inches ;)
