Nah, there's probably all deployed in the schools, looking to cause problems.

Fangtasia 08-23-2012 10:26 PM

I have an appointment with a surgeon on the 28th Sept.

Had a barrage of tests today....7 vials of blood they took, my body fought em all the way too, and i have the needle holes to prove it *LMAO*

gekkogecko 08-24-2012 08:31 AM

Yeah, well, this is what you get for having such a vampire obsession.

Oldfart 08-24-2012 06:14 PM

I wasn't game to ask if they came in pairs.

I found an interesting trilogy at work today. Apparently Anne Rice wrote a Sleeping Beauty trilogy that is definitely not meant for kids and is very different from Grimms'. It said on the package that if you liked the Fifty Shades, you'll like this set.

Lilith 08-31-2012 06:04 PM

It is very different. I read it about 10 years ago. I liked the first one ok but felt while the sex and PE got decisively raunchier as the series moves forwards, the plot was lacking. :p

AZRedHot 08-31-2012 06:17 PM

A lot of sex will do wonders for your general outlook on life. ;)

I had a very productive day. I bought lumber and other supplies for building a shelving unit, then I built the shelving unit. I changed the negative battery cable on the f150 so that it will start every time. Finally I changed out the shower head so that I have better water pressure.

It is pretty old but a very good read

dicksbro 09-02-2012 01:09 AM

It's just a little past 1AM.

Oldfart 09-02-2012 03:12 AM

20 to 6 in the evening here.

sodaklostsoul 09-04-2012 08:46 PM

Love the Lightwire Theater on AGT!

Lilith 09-04-2012 10:12 PM

I like them too

dicksbro 09-05-2012 01:48 AM

Dang, the ol' weather has turned hot again! :(

kleclere 09-06-2012 01:23 PM

Trying to figure out something for daughter's 16th birthday.

Oldfart 09-06-2012 04:43 PM

Pre-register her to vote in 2016?

dicksbro 09-08-2012 02:26 AM

Is that assuming our country still exists by then?

Oldfart 09-08-2012 05:03 AM

US is tougher than that, DB.

A bit more battered maybe, but still strong.

Lord Snow 09-08-2012 09:36 AM

I don't know, the rules of Zombieland clearly state that cardio is important and we have an awful lot of people that probably can't out run the zombies.

Then double tap it is!!! :D

Oldfart 09-08-2012 09:34 PM

It is the job of the unfit to delay the Zombies while we get away.

kleclere 09-08-2012 10:15 PM

Either the unfit or the slower of the group. lol

Shadowsfate loaned this series to me in the late 1990's I think, and it was because of Anne's series that started my lust affair with erotic stories. :slurp:

Plot lacking, perhaps. Good masturbation material (for me), yes!

dicksbro 09-09-2012 02:01 AM

The weather has suddenly turned cool and wonderful here the past couple of days.

sodaklostsoul 09-10-2012 01:14 PM

I had a fresh glazed donut. :D

Oldfart 09-10-2012 01:51 PM

I hate getting hair cuts.

kleclere 09-11-2012 04:29 PM

Hate haircuts also, but wife says way to long.

AZRedHot 09-11-2012 04:34 PM

Raining again here. Every time I think the monsoon is over, it make me a liar.

Oldfart 09-11-2012 08:05 PM

It probably won't get here till Christmas, we have a long, uncomfortable build-up ahead of us. Thank God and Mr Carrier for Air-Con.

Lord Snow 09-29-2012 08:40 PM

Okay, I have a question. What is the term for the traditional manners training that young woman and men go through? I just can't remember and it's bugging me.

jseal 09-29-2012 08:42 PM

Etiquette

Oldfart 09-29-2012 09:10 PM

Bless you.

Fangtasia 09-29-2012 10:32 PM

Ladies were (and still are) sent to Finishing school. Training them in the art of social graces

*note. they can be called Finishing/Etiquette/Charm schools

Training consisted of, but not limited to: Dancing, Manners, How to host a ball/tea/etc, Housekeeping, Cooking,

Oldfart 09-30-2012 02:04 PM

jseal's still pretty close with etiquette. Charm School perhaps.

Lord Snow 09-30-2012 08:21 PM

I don't know. It'll come to me in a week or two and I'll just blurt it out and look like a crazy person.

sodaklostsoul 10-03-2012 06:01 PM

Crap, people are home, can't Pixie no more. Laters!!
