An executed lease on my house, a transfer of car title, and the determination of a self-storage place once I get to New Hampshire.

Leaving work early, finding an Abbot and Costello movie at BallBuster, and the prospect of pizza. :slurp:

My son, upset tonight...the hugs didn't calm him down...but he stopped crying after asking me to sing the Carpenters' "Close to You," a song I've sung to him since he was a tiny baby and the same song my mother sang to me when *I* was an infant.

Just being asked by a very creative, somewhat serious six-year old girl how the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (on her left-hand side) are going to defeat the giant bunny (on her right). :grin:

After telling the kids earlier today that I was concerned that their bike ride lasted a little longer than I'd expected...my daughter, who was playing upstairs, came down, looked at me and said, "Mom, I'm going to the bathroom. I just wanted you to know so that you wouldn't be worried." :rofl:

After being told by my sweetheart that, due to compression between vertebrae throughout the day, people are *slightly* taller in the morning than evening, he then told me that, if we went to an amusement park, I would be able to ride the "big people" rides early in the day. :rolleyes2

Giving my children a little freedom and responsibility...hoping they'll make the most of it, remembering when my grandmother used to do the same thing with me and my sister, and how much I appreciated it much later on.
