I keep an oven mitt and a hand towel in my car for getting into it at the end of a long Arizona summer day. Hand towel over the steering wheel when I'm not in the car, oven mitt to be able to drive while the A/C does its thing. And you don't have to buy a thing.

Except the car, the hand towel & the oven mitt.

All previous commenters have stated they are possessed of vehicular conveyance, and only the most stubborn bachelor (or perhaps Diogenes, which may be the same thing) doesn't own a hand towel and an oven mitt.

I use welding gloves as protective covers for my hands/arms when I need to deal with a feisty iguana, caiman, or snapping turtle.

I think we ended up with about 4" of snow yesterday. Here, I was hoping it'd stay in the 50's all winter. Oh well, it is suppose to start warming back up this weekend.

Hmmmmm, 4" of snow times the total land area of Illinois divided by 10oz = a gazillion snowcones.

We only got a light dusting really here in Tennessee. I would have loved to have gotten 4" of snow.

We got our last night and today. So far only about 2" (5cm) around me but other parts of town already have 8"+ (20cm). The lake plays tricks with dropping moisture around here. I've left my house already when I could still see the grass in the white, drove a little over 4 miles south to 16" of snow.:wobbly:
