Up and about fairly early, debating heading into town to an event. Camera battery on charge. I missed the last one, missed half of this one too, but seeing some is better than none *LOL*

Check, we have a "rep" UV lamp on him, plus he is by a window that gets excellent light and has heavy drapes to close at dusk. He is a lot more active and using his entire enclosure now rather than the "warm" spot. And to talk shit for a moment, as what goes in must come out....yup, good there too. |
I'm just sittin' here chillin'. Not sure what I might decide to get into this evening.

What politician do you know that didn't leave office with MORE than they entered with plus their "pay"? |

|
It sounds like some early talent really developing. Good luck at the meet.
|
Been spending a lot of time working on various hosehold stuff, and kind of resenting it, as well.
|
I can help you GG. I remodeled my kitchen to be more efficient. I took out all the old appliances and installed vending machines. :thumb:
|
I get turned on by reading the stories I've written even years later.

daughter placed first in four events and 1 second.. Woot
|
After having to totally clear out our garage to have the roof replaced (cost ££££'s too, as it was asbestos!) it's now time to repopulate it.
I've put some of the old stuff back, and bought a shiny new 'professional' tool chest to keep everything all in one place. All the wiring has been tidied up, and I've a load of skinning timbers to put up over the next week or so. Can't wait to get started! |

There is a special secion of Pixies where you talk about your hoseholding issues. |
For me that special section is called the jokes section.
|
Wish I had more time to catch up, but peeps are home.
|
Well, I think our beautiful weather is over for a while and we'll be getting back to something a little more seasonable ... darn it. :(

Just lock 'em in a closet for a little while, they'll be OK. |

If there was a closet with a door I just might. :) |
We're heading to Decatur, IL today to spend time with our whole extended family. Kind of an early holiday get together. :)
|
It will be another day of raking leaves, but at least it should be a great day to be outside. Much warmer than yesterday.
|
Especially warmer if you light the leaf pile on fire before jumping in it.
|
I bought a new toy today. My first pistol. It's a S&W .357 magnum highway patrolman. It's a N frame, 3 inch barrel, wood grips.
|
Its hot and yukky!
My surgery has been changed to an earlier time through the day. 2:30pm (oz time) instead of 5pm. Pleased with that....i'll get out of hospital (providing all goes as planned) earlier too after recovery! |
Had a great time yesterday visiting with family in Decatur. There were probably 40 or 50 of us there.
Best of luck to you fangtasia! Here's hoping everything goes super well and you're home very quickly. |

Yeah, but that's a big if. Hope it does. |

3" barrel? Don't you like hitting what you're shooting at? |
Quote:
Maybe when it gets excited it'll stretch out to 6" or 6 1/2". :spin: At least when it reaches it's climax it'll carry a good load and make a big splash. |
Quote:
I was guessing as to the length. It's a 4 inch barrel. As for hitting what I'm aiming at, I have a pretty good pattern at about 25 feet. Which is pretty standard for any handgun. I can do the same thing with my dad's Ruger that has a 2 inch barrel. |
I tired, hungry, thirsty and a bit anxious *L* Over soon
|
Should be out soon.
I hope it went well. It's a really good place to meet stunning nurses. |
Quote:
The extra inch or two'll give you better penetration. (Settle down girls.) If you're interested, try a phone book impact comparison between the Ruger and the S&W. |
I'm home, all went well! No pain what so ever, but i think thats cause 1/2 my face is still extremely numb *L* Not allowed to eat anything i need to chew, as ingesting part of my tongue or cheek would not be good *L*
Will see how it fairs when the needles wear of in around 6 - 12 hours |
Glad to hear. ((Fangsy))
|
Quote:
When what wears off? Your face? |
Quote:
I might do that. It would be interesting to see the differences between my dad's 2" Ruger, my 4" S&W, and my dad's 8" Blackhawk. |
Quote:
Sounds like really good news. Glad to hear it went so well and we'll keep up the prayers that the discomfort won't be too great when the numbness wears off. :x: |

Then you will just have to grin & bare it  |
Happy thanksgiving, everyone!

Past the deadline. How are you now? |
I'm actually really good, no pain at all really, more just a bit of discomfort....BONUS!
I can eat, mostly soft stuff, i can chew now carefully on the other side of course, so all is good. Definately my choice of getting wisdoms out! |
*BURRRRRRP!*
