Check, we have a "rep" UV lamp on him, plus he is by a window that gets excellent light and has heavy drapes to close at dusk. He is a lot more active and using his entire enclosure now rather than the "warm" spot. And to talk shit for a moment, as what goes in must come out....yup, good there too.

I'm just sittin' here chillin'. Not sure what I might decide to get into this evening.

After having to totally clear out our garage to have the roof replaced (cost ££££'s too, as it was asbestos!) it's now time to repopulate it.

I've put some of the old stuff back, and bought a shiny new 'professional' tool chest to keep everything all in one place.

All the wiring has been tidied up, and I've a load of skinning timbers to put up over the next week or so. Can't wait to get started!

We're heading to Decatur, IL today to spend time with our whole extended family. Kind of an early holiday get together. :)

I bought a new toy today. My first pistol. It's a S&W .357 magnum highway patrolman. It's a N frame, 3 inch barrel, wood grips.

Its hot and yukky!

My surgery has been changed to an earlier time through the day. 2:30pm (oz time) instead of 5pm. Pleased with that....i'll get out of hospital (providing all goes as planned) earlier too after recovery!

Had a great time yesterday visiting with family in Decatur. There were probably 40 or 50 of us there.

I was guessing as to the length. It's a 4 inch barrel. As for hitting what I'm aiming at, I have a pretty good pattern at about 25 feet. Which is pretty standard for any handgun. I can do the same thing with my dad's Ruger that has a 2 inch barrel.

I might do that. It would be interesting to see the differences between my dad's 2" Ruger, my 4" S&W, and my dad's 8" Blackhawk.

I can eat, mostly soft stuff, i can chew now carefully on the other side of course, so all is good.
