dicksbro 10-26-2011 03:12 AM

We had a really strong thunderstorm move through our area last night. Fortunately, we didn't lose power, but I kept my flashlight handy just in case.

Mr. AZRH and I went on our first date 21 years ago today. We celebrate it every year.

I think this thing might be getting serious. ;)

Oldfart 10-27-2011 01:05 AM

Seriously?

We celebrate our "meeting" anniversary (or first date .. a blind date).

I think that's terrific AZ ... congratulations!

Thanks! Ours, too, DB. Well, it was blind for him, semi-blind for me. He went to HS with my roommate, and she kept her yearbooks under her bed, so I had a sneak preview. But he was much better in person. :D

And yes, OF, seriously. :spank:

Rhiannon 10-27-2011 10:12 AM

You're enjoying it...I can see you're smiling.

PantyFanatic 10-28-2011 01:31 AM

Maybe not but I'm enjoying watching. :D

dicksbro 10-28-2011 04:43 AM

We watched a show called "Attack on Leningrad." What made it interesting is that it was a Russian film with English voice overs. We got it at WalMart. It was a very well done movie taking place in 1941 when Germany laid seige to the city and followed the city's suffiering and sacrifice until the seige was broken some 882 days later. Reminded us a bit of "Enemy at the Gates" from a year or two ago.

Lilith 10-29-2011 09:06 AM

We carved jack-o-lanterns today. It is quite the experience to work with blind kids, butcher knives and gourds. It all went sooooo well then I decided to take a class pic with our lit jack o lanterns.

Check out the little guy on the right-

(This post will self destruct :)

Lord Snow 10-29-2011 10:06 AM

dicksbro 10-30-2011 04:29 AM

gekkogecko 10-30-2011 10:10 AM

Ah, the Caps managed to loose it in the third period in Vancouver last night. Canucks beat them 7-4. Still, the Caps are 7-2 for the month of October, their best starting record in their history.

The Halloween accessory I made failed as I tried to put it on this morning, and now all I have is this lousy t-shirt for my "costume." 'Tis a bummer.

sodaklostsoul 10-31-2011 02:24 PM

I'll tell you Happy Halloween!

Aqua 10-31-2011 03:37 PM

I made an LotR costume.

I did ... but I knew it'd never keep being shipped all the way to Australia and so I drank it. But, it's the thought that counts. :)

Lord Snow 11-04-2011 02:16 PM

Always good to look out for the health of our elders. Can't let them drink beer that's gotten warm.
