Yesterday sucked!!!!!

Girl's dental work will cost plenty.
Car has radiator leak (hopefully stop leak holds).
Girl's laptop is not working.

And to top it off my sis is out of town and her toilet is possessed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Getting water in or getting it out? Normally toilets are the least complicated and cheapest to fix.

I saw this miller/moth fly into a spiders web and it started struggling. Then I saw the spider come from the other side of the web and start attacking the miller. It took 20 minutes for the miller to give up. The miller was over twice the size of the spider but the little spider carried that miller across its web like nothing. Was kind of cool to watch.

Poor moth. :(

Saw a group of six hawks circling overhead when I went for my walk yesterday. They're sure beautiful the way the soar.

I just killed a Northern Mouse Spider in my house. Dangerous, but probably not lethal.

I pulled one hell of a hairball out of the shower drain. I'm hoping it was mostly my hair. I'd hate to think what else might have been in it.

We have a visitor in our quiet, out-of-the-way harbour, a quaint little boat called the USS Green Bay. She's an LPD, one of the new expeditionary vessels, all funny angles to spoof radar.

We helped our daughter celebrate her birthday yesterday by having supper at a local bar (down by the Illinois river) called "Captain Ron's." Good food. There were about 15 of us there. Had a nice time.

I just learned (again) that it's a bad idea to rile up and roughhouse with a Boxer before you get dressed.

I am learning to sign (ASL) on the fly as I got a new baby who is hearing impaired. Monday I get the baby with hemophillia, and by Friday a crack baby and 1 seriously on the spectrum. I will be up to 15 including my blind girlies. Anyone want to buy me a drink? I will be taking up alcohol as a hobby :p

Well, today I returned to work with my still injured back. It hurt the entire 5 hours and I was one grouchy chick when I got home. But a nap and some pain meds did wonders. ;)
