It's too hot to work in London.

It's too far to work in London.

My friend lost her husband tonight to cancer. <40 years old and he has fought for most of his life to stay on this Earth with his wife and live to raise his daughter.
|
Sorry to hear that. Cancer seems to take the good ones.
|
I'm sorry, Lil.
|
Also sorry to hear that, Lil. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and for the saddness you must feel.

Trees should not regrow in any way shape or form after they are trimmed, cause man oh man i am knackered after tidying up the trees in my front yard, damn feral they were. Yard is looking damn good now though. More to do tomorrow, but well on the way to tamed *LOL*

Bugger. |
My husband spent the morning trying to save this armadillo that had gotten in the yard. Eventually my dogs took care of things. I love Mr. Lil for trying.
|
My shoulders hurt and I don't know why. Not sure if I slept wrong or if it's from when I dumped a 240 lb teenager out of a inner tube in the pool.
|
I'll give you a shoulder and neck rub, m'lord.
My brain woke up at 10 a.m., but my body lazed in bed for another half an hour because I could. I love holidays. |
One of these days I definitely have to take route 66.......I swear my intentions are purely innocent.

Well that's disappointing! :spank: |

Indeed. |

Now now...just because my intentions are innocent doesn't mean I can't be persuaded. |
I am taking a kiddo to see a liver specialist today and while I have spent the last month saying "He'll be fine." He damn well better be.

Prayers for you and the kid, Lilith |
TYSVM- He's going to be fine. Just need a few more tests.

... just needs a few more tests and Lilith's arm round his shoulder... :console: |
Lil, more good wishes and prayers from the Mrs. and I.

The ranchero is now registered and legal to drive. Now I have to clean out the lebaron.
|
Excellent news, LS!
I am still waiting for my part to arrive so I can repair my Triumph. |
Have you checked it out with our resident Triumph expert? ;)

What part are you waiting on? |

Are you prompting for a Triumphant return? |

I wish I had your mechanical abilities! |
My mechanical abilities are actually fairly limited. My dad, however, has over 20 years experience in the field professionally. 30+ if you include his teenage years helping his father in the local garage. I do know enough to do my own basic maintenance. I'm also very good at following directions out of a book.

Gearchange shaft. It was supposed to be in last Thursday. |
So Aqua is waiting oh-so-patiently to get the shaft.
|
Again?! :yikes:
 |
I went to a funeral today where there were funny stories told about a guy trying to help his best friend take a piss. Made everyone howl. Peeps better laugh at my funeral.
|
I'll see to it. ;)

No Clowns!!!!!!!!!
|
I got to drive the ranchero to work......and the starter locked up. Now it's back to the parts store for a starter and solenoid.

Isn't your wake planned to be in Sarasota? :D It is now. |
I couldn't get my new specs this afternoon because of an attempted carjacking (complete with gunshot) at Walmart half an hour before we arrived. I've never seen so many cop cars in one place before.
|
Was that at another place where "it can't happen here"?
|
This is Arizona, where we just love, love, love guns. The more, the better. After our Congresswoman was shot at a Safeway in January, along with 18 others, 6 of whom died, I honestly would be surprised if anyone in this city still believed "it couldn't happen here" about anything.

Truly sad reality of the specie. :( Unfortunately not an innovation nor a monopoly. :boohoo:
