alright smarty pants! It's not the lightbulb or the switch or the chain... it's the outlet that I replaced that somehow isn't wired right... the outlet and the light both don't work and are in the same room and I've made the broad assumption they are related! I had already tried the switch, chain and lightbulb many times ;)

My five-year old daughter's insistence that Mom needs a boyfriend. :D
