My fingers are soooooo spicy from chopping peppers for some white chicken chili I am making for a family where the hubby is terminally ill. I think some cheddar broccoli corn bread, some wine, and a huge honkin' chocolate loaf cake will round out the dinner. If I don't eat it first.

I've done that. Chopped all my veggies for my chili late at night, woke up early to get it started and hadn't washed all the jalepeno juice from fingers. Burnt the hell out of my eyes.

I sure liked the Nissan Sentra that we drove over to Indianapolis in. Comfortable and quiet with mileage for the whole trip around 32mpg. :thumbs:

We have just seen off houseguests ( after 2 weeks), just in time for my daughter to crash here for 2 weeks.

I've grown so used to it just being Mrs OF and I, it's strange.

I then have a week's freedom, then a mate and his wife will be here for 2 weeks, less about 5 days in Kakadu.

I guess I should cancel my surprise trip then :( :p

It went well--only 2 1/2 hours after all, which wasn't bad. I just got some pictures of it today. I won't be posting them here (plausible deniability must be maintained, so I don't show publicly viewable tats here-Ex-Rep. Weiner, take note), but as you have the proper security clearance, you will see it soon in a different venue. :)

I went bowling this past evening with a friend. First time in over 10 years. I still suck, but managed to break 100 on both games. I was even able to get a few strikes, which surprised the hell out of me.
