'Twas not. It was a British company called Simply Be. I highly recommend NOT ordering from their catalogue. It's been an ongoing hassle of the first order.

I'm missing Aqua and trying to recover from our time together.

Nobody can miss that flushed, worn down, tired look that speak of moments of intense pleasure and joy.

I bet you're feeling some of that, too.

:D

gekkogecko 04-24-2011 10:22 AM

The Rangers avoided a shutout in the last minute, but still lost the game to the Capitals, 3-1. Caps take the series, four games to one. And they get to rest while the rest of the conference figures out who they'll play in the next series.

LET'S GO, CAPS!

gekkogecko 04-27-2011 11:05 AM

OK, so games tonight will determine the Capitals' next opponent: if Montreal beats Boston, they will face the Captials: but if Boston wins, than the Caps will play the winner of the Tamps Bay/Pittsburgh game. Yeah, that's how convoluted it can be.

Skype video chat chews up about 200meg per hour.

GusAspar 04-28-2011 04:18 AM

I'm 65 today!

Oldfart 04-28-2011 04:45 AM

Congratulations on many levels.

Doing anything excessive or reprehensible or otherwise fun?

Lord Snow 04-28-2011 05:25 AM

65 huh? Well as the old joke says "it's better to be over the hill, than buried under it". LOL. I will agree with OLdfart in that congratulations are in order.

Lilith 04-30-2011 06:28 AM

Aqua just friended a friend of mine from work and they are both freaky pervs so they will get along well.

Lord Snow 04-30-2011 08:40 AM

I slept about 9 hours and I'm still tired.

AZRedHot 05-02-2011 08:35 PM

It's so good to go away...and even better to come home.

Oldfart 05-03-2011 01:12 AM

Yup.

dicksbro 05-03-2011 02:42 AM

Did you know that "yup" spelled backwards is "puy."

Not that it matters.

Oldfart 05-03-2011 03:31 AM

And the Scots greeting "Up Y' ".

gekkogecko 05-04-2011 10:41 AM

*^^*&**(*&%$@)_ everything, the Caps lost game three to the Lightning.

Lord Snow 05-04-2011 05:19 PM

Well, I have a cousin that will be happy about that.

Aqua 05-05-2011 01:24 AM

I hit 15K posts not too long ago and didn't even realize it.

angelababy 05-05-2011 01:44 AM

thanks very much for the info!useful !

gekkogecko 05-05-2011 09:51 AM

And of course, the Washington Capitals have continueed their great tradition of choking in the playoffs. The lost last nights game to the Tampa Bay Lightning, 5-3. Let the Lightning sweep.

Not a happy lizard right now.

AZRedHot 05-05-2011 10:29 AM

Sorry, GG.

If only I could think of something that would console you... ;) But it is my experience that disappointed sports fans (at least those close to me) are frequently inconsolable.

PantyFanatic 05-05-2011 11:43 AM

................."until NEXT year" :roflmao:

Nah, it's something I've pretty much come to expect from the Caps. The last time though they were swept from the playoffs was 1998, in the Stanley Cup finals. By Detroit.

dicksbro 05-07-2011 01:07 AM

It's about 1AM and very quiet here in Pixie Land.

dicksbro 05-07-2011 01:25 AM

I just noticed ... in eight days, I'll have been a registered member of Pixies for nine years. May 15, 2002 was when I joined and I became an avid fan almost overnight.

I guess that's one reason I feel a little sad this morning. I've noticed how few threads and how few registered members are even bothering to post anymore. I know everyone is busy and all that; but, most of us were nine years ago and at that time, you sometimes hoped for a brief break so you could get a reply in before the subject changed. Ah, the good ol' days.

Here's just hoping that Pixies-Place will continue to be around for the next year.

Nah, you've just gotta work harder on the consolation.

Hmmmm, consolation prize?

NOW THAT CALLS FOR A REAL CELEBRATION!

Gotta admit, though, I wish more of the ol' gang were still around posting. Often wonder about Grumble; Legend, Nikki, Lixy, IowaMan, IAKG, and others.Where they are ... how they're doing? Do they think back and remember us? :(

Oldfart 05-07-2011 04:53 AM

We've been an important part in many lives, and will be for many more.

We're a haven, not a prison.

Lilith 05-07-2011 07:26 AM

What do you get a 10 year old web site? :p

Why don't one of you start a birthday thread?

Lord Snow 05-07-2011 07:53 AM

I'm putting money on Lilith's present being a spanking.

Lilith 05-07-2011 09:29 AM

Actually I was just thinking I should clear everyone's posts counts so we can start all over :p

Scarecrow 05-07-2011 12:23 PM

And to think there are a few members still active who where here from the begining or before. I am trying to remember all of the active members who where here when I joined about 9 and a half yrs ago on Labor Day weekend in 2001. There have been good times and bad times, fun times and sad times and Pixies just keep getting better.

That's it! What he said is what we are and what Pixies is to a lot of us. No question now that a Pixie Birthday thread needs to be anchored and an anniversary celebration of this magnitude needs to extend to all the special people that has cone through our lives at this turn.

Me, too, neither! I didn't know Pixies was 10 years old. We should get it a really cool new bike --10-year-olds love bikes, right? ;)

I've been here since 2004...7 years now. I've had a lot of fun with the hubby and shared the photos here; I've had my spirits lifted and my confidence boosted by the folks here; I met a great love here; I was comforted by the kind people here who knew him, too, when I lost him. A kind-hearted bunch of pervs here that I am forever grateful to know.
