Its 3 weeks until my first fair of the year and I have very little made

It's only a few weeks since Cyclone Carlos, but with most of the fallen trees cleaned up, this forlorn reminder remains.

Surgery was cancelled for Wednesday at one centre due to me not getting by their restrictions. I am now going to be operated on at a hospital on Thursday, they have facilities to cope if i need to be admitted or things dont go to plan.....sooooooooooooooooo

I have to be at the hospital at 12pm, will be prepped and then to surgery. Unsure on when i will get out, depending how it all goes i assume (though there was mention of 3-4 hours)

I'll let Bilbo know to let you all know as soon as he can. It will be a full on day though, and we may not be near the puter til i get home anyway.

I am a bit nervous, but all will be good....see ya all soon!

Just got home...all went as planned. I didnt get into surgery until approx 2:30pm, due to tests that had to be done prior.

Pethadine is wearing off, and its getting rather painful now. Have taken some of the painkillers they gave me. Will finish my coffee and be heading to bed, i'm exhausted.

Oh boy....not much sleep happening, given up and well, here i am. Painkillers not doing too much, i can only take them 4 hourly, and they are lucky to take the edge off for an hour!
I also noticed that i still have a canula in my left hand....i'll have to drop back to the hospital and get it removed....and see if i can get any stronger painkilers so i can sleep

I figured. I was just going along with the punning. No major damage. ;)

So i now have 2 different painkillers that are doing squat. As long as i in no way move the arm or my fingers its just a strong ache type pain, but moving it at all....OMFG!!
