Yay for Moms!!! Mine drove an hour each way to Columbus -- on Friday morning -- just to FedEx me my professional portfolio which I had forgotten........so I am completely prepared for my interview on Monday at Berkeley's MBA program. |
My son was in Walmart and wanted a snack. When he approached the counter he asked for his usual nachos. The woman saw he was wearing a BETA club member tee shirt. She asked if he were actually a member and he quickly smiled and showed her his ID card. The woman congratulated him and gave him a free soda. It's a simple gesture really but it was a surprise and praise for keeping his grades up. Little things like that add so much to what we as parents can do. I had to smile as he told me about it. Of course we have to return today.... I guess he got so excited he left his jacket. LOL
